NTA Powers Into the Future

DistribuTECH International 2025

27 March 2025

Dallas, TX — March 24-27, 2025 — Against the buzz of drones, digital twins, and the electric promise of tomorrow, DistribuTECH International 2025 surged to life this week as the world’s premier power and utility expo. And standing at the intersection of innovation and real-world impact was NTA Energy Solutions Corporation, represented by none other than Mr. Paulo B. Reyes, Vice President for Sales and Technical Operations, and Engr. Orlando M. Canlas Jr., Head of Technical Operations.

For NTA Energy Solutions, attendance at DistribuTECH isn’t just about keeping pace — it’s about staying ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving landscape. The convention, known for gathering the brightest minds and boldest technologies in electric distribution and grid intelligence, served as the perfect launchpad for discussions, discoveries, and transformative tools

NovaTech Automation was among the star exhibitors, making waves with the launch of its next-gen networking hardware: the Hermes 1000, an Unmanaged Switch built for simplicity and speed, and the Hermes 2000, a Managed Switch boasting fine-tuned control and visibility — both purpose-built for substation automation and resilient grid communications.

But the innovation didn’t stop there. NovaTech’s OrionMX platform just got a serious upgrade with the unveiling of a new Unmanaged Switch Card, expanding its Ethernet port capacity and boosting the device’s adaptability in field applications.

Still, the talk of the town was OrionVX — a groundbreaking step into the future of Virtual Substations. Positioned as the first real-world deployment of a Virtual Remote Terminal Unit (RTU), the OrionVX eliminates the need for physical RTUs at every substation. Instead, it centralizes operations at the control center, offering real-time, secure, and seamless monitoring across multiple locations. For utilities looking to modernize without multiplying hardware, this is nothing short of a revolution.

“We came to learn, engage, and explore,” said Mr. Paulo Reyes, pausing between sessions packed with insights and demos. “And what we found here isn’t just technology — it’s opportunity.”

With technical leadership from Engr. Canlas Jr. and a commitment to bringing the most forward-thinking solutions back to their partners, NTA Energy Solutions continues to affirm its position at the forefront of smart grid transformation.
